utah business week...also known as utah baptist week

[yes i'm aware i'm very attractive]
where to start to explain a week in the life of cyndel. well first off i'd like to admit that blogging is quite entertaining. i get to talk about myself while sitting in my basement wearing my pajamas. getting ready? honestly, who does that.

anyway back to the point.

luckily i wrote a day to day log on the happenings of business week for my best friend tess, which should make this blog less difficult to write.
[mountain dew and crackers and cheese night. yum]
LOGAN is in the middle of no where. NO WHERE. i thought that if i went any further i'd fall of the planet. call me an extremist. but actually i found that USU has a pretty nice campus. like our dorms were AMAZING. i loved them. except i was rooming with my friend kim. i love her, but i don't think i've ever heard a more annoying person talk on the phone. all night talking to her boyfriend kinda is a drag. i got to hear all about how she misses his hair. HIS HAIR? what the? but if they're happy. good for them.
oh we bought two bettas. two MALE bettas, we were planning to fight them at the end of the week. Kirsten's was named, old greg-due to the youtube video, and kim and i shared a fish named LARS. so at the end of the week we "fought" the fish. it didn't turn out well. for one we did it in the boys dorm and they didn't fight...so the boys got thinking...so after we left they put the fish in the FREEZER. RIP lars and old greg. :[ they became a fish popcicle.
so hmm...for business week we were set up into groups. COMPANY D DOMS!!! (my company was d...obviously) and there were 8 girls and 4 guys. the girls weren't too fond of me it seemed. maybe because i hung out with only the guys really. oh well. andrew (DJ urban A), sean (SC kristal), taylor (EZ T), and bryan (DOOM) were really awesome boys. they kept me entertained during the many speeches. i was in charge of keeping some of them awake. SEAN.
oh so on monday all the of the EFY kids came. so we had to test them. we told them we were from utah baptist week. they seemed excited to have a missionary experience. we asked them the most untrue things, like how many mothers they had, if they were a cult, asking them if they couldn't do drugs, etc. quite entertaining.
[we're so good looking] [we got bored. i'm like laying on dane. i love DANE.]
[the girlies...i laugh at myself.]
we had to do something to keep ourselves entertained. we had speakers for like five hours a DAY. thats why too long to just sit there. BUT it was funny to see the blendtec guy blend a rake. it can't even blend a strawberry. WHAT IS THIS?
i think the most entertaining part of business week was the fact that people thought sean and i were a couple. it cracked me up. like an advisor even asked us if we were a couple. can you say awkward? it was awesome. apparently girls and guys can't just be friends anymore.
hmm...what else to say? OH CHADLEY JONES. he was our company advisor. i loved him so much. he had been going to business week for a long long time. and he told us that my company was by far the flakiest group he's ever had. i was proud. but in our defense we won the logo and radio competitions. DANG STRAIGHT. he was just a funny guy. he told us all about how he was "banished" to utah when he was a teenager. how is that for punishment? [on the bus to wescor]
ESCAPE! we got to escape campus for an hour. it was awesome...well you'd think. we all went to local companies. the other groups on my bus went to a bakery and got bread, and went to a dairy and got ice cream. guess where we went? a medical supply company that looks like it hasn't been changed at all since 1977. it smelled and there were wood paneling on the walls. somewhat a disappointment [the crew....breeana, me, matt, brijette, alli, kirsten , and chris. don't we look excited?] [lady of the dance] [breeana, me, and kirsten jay. it looks like a rave]

RACE DAVIES CALLED ME TIPSY. i don't think i've laughed so much. then again i don't blame him. kirsten and i kinda got into the dance. but it surprised me that nerdy kids can actually dance. AND someone stepped on my foot. LARGE bruise. was it a large person? i'm not aware.my favorite was the last dance on friday night. TOGAS. enough said.
hmm...there is more to write, but i'm not in the mood to write it.
[the return]
thanks for reading.
love
cyn.
